Mark has welcomed the reopening of Princes Street, the city’s main thoroughfare, to buses, taxis and cyclists.

Mark said:

“I am pleased that Princes Street was reopened last week on schedule.  This will benefit businesses in the constituency and will ease congestion for shoppers during this extremely busy time of the year.”

He added:

“The reopening, along with recent announcements for new lamp post banners on Leith Walk and the Spotlight on Leith newsletter, are helping to ensure that disruption is minimised for businesses in the city centre and Leith area during the festive season which is very important for them.”
