A new survey on stigma and discrimination suffered by people with mental health problems has just been launched by 'see me' - Scotland's national campaign on this issue.
This survey aims to gather detailed information about the ways in which stigma affects those with experience of mental health problems. It is the only national survey of its kind in Scotland and it is an issue that affects people of different ages and backgrounds right across the country - one in every four of the population is likely to experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of their life.
The survey, which will run until the end of May 2009, can be easily completed by visiting the 'see me' website at www.seemescotland.org.
