Mark is supporting World Wildlife Fund’s Earth Hour on Saturday 27th March between 8.30pm-9.30pm, when individuals, businesses, landmarks and local authorities across the world will switch off their lights for one hour to show they care about people and wildlife threatened by climate change.
Mark said:
'Energy efficiency is one of the key ways to combat climate change and by switching off lights at Earth Hour we are sending an important signal that we can live in a less wasteful way and preserve our planet for future generations.'
The Castle, the Camera Obscura and the Cally Hotel have all signed up, along with a host of other Edinburgh and sites in Scotland.
